The 2015 AGM of Cordal Coiste Na nÓg was held at Cordal Community Centre on Sunday 12 January.
A very constructive meeting was held. Chairman Joe O’Connor opened the meeting with a prayer for all in the Community who passed away during the year. The various officer reports were read out and accepted. Secretary Mike Flynn detailed the achievement of the Club during the year, thanking all the officers and coaches who have a difficult and busy year, due to the absence of a permanent pitch. Chairman Joe O’Connor also thanked the coaches and the Coaching Officer Sean Og O’Ciardubhain for the excellent work done in 2015, saying that the emphasis on coaching coupled with the field re-development meant structures were being put in place now at under-age to bring success to Cordal Coiste Na nÓg and the Senior Club for the years ahead.
Treasurer Denis Collins as outlined the finances of the club. The Club finances are in acceptable position considering the busy year just had but need to be quickly improved to ensure that we can continue to operate comfortably working on the business that really matters. The requirement for a successful Biddy to be held in 2015 was very clear when the figures are examined and its contribution to the overall Finances of the Club was very clearly demonstrated.
