The Cordal GAA Club AGM took place last Friday. It was an important event for the Club to look back on the past year. It also gave members the opportunity to vote in the Club officers for the new year.
It can be said that the 2017 Cordal GAA Club AGM was a success. There was a strong attendance of about 40 people from the community, including many young people.
The majority of the positions were filled on the night with further positions to be filled at the next Executive Meeting. We bid farewell to outgoing officers as well as welcoming some new arrivals. Thanks to all outgoing officers for your valued work and commitment. We also wish the best of luck to our new committee and new officers for 2018. The AGM was very positive and the future of Cordal GAA Club looks bright.
We look forward to what the new year will bring for our Club and the community in Cordal.
The Christmas Lotto Jackpot is a fantastic €4,000. This month’s Lotto Draw will take place on New Year’s Day in Hughes’ Bar, Cordal. There are now three ways to play. As always you can get Lotto tickets from our sellers, at Kearney’s Post Office or at Jackie Reidy’s Menswear. You can also go to www.cordalgaa.com to play the Lotto online. Please keep playing and supporting our Club Lotto. However you play, the Best of Luck from Cordal GAA.
Annual Lotto Ticket
It’s Christmas and the new Annual Lotto Ticket is here! Make sure to get yours for the new year. The Annual Lotto Ticket costs €50 which is equivalent to less than €1 a week for the year. This would make a great gift for the coming Christmas holidays. The Annual Lotto Ticket ensures you are entered three times into the Cordal GAA Lotto Draw for 12 consecutive months. Your newly purchased tickets will be entered into their first draw on New Year’s Day for the Christmas Lotto at Hughes’ Bar. The tickets will be entered for the duration of the twelve months until next year’s November Lotto. We hope you buy an Annual Lotto Ticket this year for yourself or as a gift for someone. The Annual Lotto Ticket provides a big boost at Christmas time for the Club and we need your support to keep the Club going all year round and we wholeheartedly appreciate everyone’s generosity.
